When making a reservation, the client is accepting the following terms and conditions

Once BARCELONAGUEST has received your reservation, we will proceed to charge the 50% non-refundable reservation fee to your credit card.

Please note that the booking will not be confirmed until we have charged the booking fee.

Children under 18 years old cannot make a reservation at BARCELONAGUEST, unless they are staying with an adult.

Once BARCELONAGUEST has charged the booking fee, we will send you a confirmation email requesting some important information for us like your time of arrival and departure. We will also send you an email with all the instructions (apartment address, how to get there, contact person, phone, check in procedure…).

The remaining amount, together with the city tax, should be paid when checking in by credit card or cash.

At this moment you have to pay also the 200 eur damage deposit in cash (see “DAMAGE DEPOSIT” section).

If the client cancels a confirmed reservation (total or partially), for any cause (including force majeure) the booking fee (50%) will not be refunded.

Additionally, the client will have to pay the 100% of the reservation if he cancels 24 hours before check in date or in case of no-show.

In the event that the client changes dates, it will be subject to the same policies indicated for cancellations.

We strongly recommend our guests to purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Bookings  of more than one apartment cannot be made without prior approval of BARCELONAGUEST management. If you want to book more than one apartment, please contact us and we will study your case.

Arrival- CHECK IN

The client has to inform BARCELONAGUEST in advance with the expected time of arrival in Barcelona, in order to have a BARCELONAGUEST staff waiting for him/her at the apartment to do the check in.  

In the case of not being informed about arrival time, BARCELONAGUEST is not responsible for any inconvenience or delay that may arise.

If you are delayed, please inform us at the contact telephone number.

The day of arrival, the apartments are available from 15:00. In case of earlier arrival, if the apartment is not ready yet, you can leave your baggage in the same building.

When you arrive at the apartment a BARCELONAGUEST staff will welcome you. You will pay the remaining amount, the city tax and the damage deposit.  After this, she will show you your apartment and answer any questions you might have.

The client has 48 hours to inform BARCELONAGUEST of any damage he/she has eventually found in the apartment or in any of the assets contained in it. After 48 hours, any damage or loss in the apartment or its content will be of his/her responsibility.

Departure- CHECK OUT

Check out should be done before 11:00 am. In case the client fails to leave the apartment before 11:00 am a penalty of an extra night will be charged.

A member of BARCELONAGUEST will be at the apartment at the agreed time, to check the inventory and will give you back your damage deposit if she does not find any damage or loss.

At this time keys will be returned.

If you need to leave your baggage for some hours the day of departure, you can leave it in the same building (on the ground floor) and visit the city. It is very important that you inform us about the time you will come back to pick it up in order to have someone waiting for you.

The client (person that signs the check in) is responsible for his/her own behaviour and for the rest of the guests’ behaviour.

If any of the guests fail to behave according to the standard code of conduct, BARCELONAGUEST is authorized to ask the client and the rest of the guests to vacate the apartment without having right to claim any reimbursement or any type of compensation.

Parties and loud music are strictly forbidden. If parties or loud music are heard, neighbours complain and/or police is called, BARCELONAGUEST can ask you to leave the apartment (regardless of the time of the day or the night), without having right to ask for any compensation or the reimbursement of any amount previously paid.

We appreciate your collaboration in this matter and hope you understand that these rules are necessary to guarantee neighbours’ resting time.

Basic rules of behaviour:


1.- Do not smoke inside the apartment. Do no throw cigarette butts out of the street or out the back yard.

2.- Respect our neighbours. They are not on holiday and need their rest time. Avoid noise in the stairwell, landing, and in the apartments.

3.- Turn off air conditioning and lights when leaving the apartment.

4.- Lock the door behind you when leaving the apartment.

5.-Take the rubbish out to the containers placed in the street. Do not leave rubbish inside the apartment when you check out.

6.-If the client loses the keys, he/she will have to pay a penalty of 30 euros.

7.-Close all the elevator doors

8.-It is completely forbidden to bring the towels to the beach. We will charge 10 euros for each dirty towel from the beach. In case you need towels for the beach, request them at reception. Sometimes we might have some available for you.

In order to guarantee reimbursement to BARCELONAGUEST for any damage or loss that may be caused to the apartments (inside or outside them) or in any asset contained in it, a security deposit of 200 euros is requested to the client

It will be paid in cash when checking in.

This deposit will be fully returned on client’s departure if no damages have been caused to the apartment or its contents.

In the event that damages caused exceed the amount of the security deposit, the client will have to pay this additional cost.

VAT: Value added tax of 10% is included in our prices.

City Tax: When you check in, you have to pay Barcelona City Tax. It is 2.48 euros per person and night (only older than 16 years old). It is not included in our price.

The clients have to provide BARCELONAGUEST with their identity number, complete name, address and age. This information will be requested by BARCELONAGUEST once you have made your reservation.

Only identified people in the booking process are authorized to use the apartment.

In the event that BARCELONAGUEST detects any infringement of the mentioned obligations, we can request clients to leave the apartment immediately without any right to claim any reimbursement or compensation.

Animals and pets are not accepted in the apartments.

There is no charge for children under 2 years old.

If you need a baby cot or a high chair, please request for it when making the reservation.

The apartment will be completely clean when checking in.

When leaving, the client must leave the apartment in reasonable conditions of cleaning and order. If the apartment is not left in these conditions, Barcelona guest is authorized to ask for an additional cleaning charge.

BARCELONAGUEST has a cleaning service available for clients. You have to request it in advance and we will inform you about prices.

The apartments are fully furnished and equipped.

Electricity, water and gas are included in the price.

BARCELONAGUEST is not responsible for any damage or loss that the client may suffer, directly or indirectly, as a consequence of his/her use of the apartment, including, without limitation, fire, robbery or any other criminal behaviour.


1.-BARCELONAGUEST is not liable for the breaking down of elevators.

2.-BARCELONAGUEST is not liable of any other adverse circumstance such us power outage (electricity, water or gas)

3.-BARCELONAGUEST is not responsible of any electrical device malfunctioning (air-conditioning…), which was correctly functioning at check-in.

However, BARCELONAGUEST will ensure that any of these problems will be corrected as soon as possible. Should the guest have to leave the apartment as a result of the mentioned circumstances, BARCELONAGUEST will reimburse the amount paid corresponding to the number of days that the guest had not used the apartment.

In case the guest leaves the apartment without notifying BARCELONAGUEST, he/she will have no right to claim any compensation for the days the apartment has not been used.


In the event BARCELONAGUEST has to change any condition of a reservation confirmed, due to external causes, we will notify immediately the client and we will proceed as follows:

-we will offer the client another apartment of the same conditions as the one initially reserved.

-If the price of the new apartment is higher than the previous one, the client will not pay any additional charge.

-If it is lower, BARCELONAGUEST will return the difference to the client.

-If no agreement can be reached, BARCELONAGUEST will refund to the client the amount paid until the date (except the part corresponding to the days that the apartment was used, if this was the case).BARCELONAGUEST will not be liable for further claims by the client arising from these circumstances.

BARCELONAGUEST reserves the right to change any information contained in our website, including prices, descriptions and photographs at any time.

BARCELONAGUEST reserves the right to update the terms and conditions of our website at any time

BARCELONAGUEST is not responsible for any error or omission that may arise on our website.

This agreement is governed by Spanish Laws.

Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement, will be submitted to the courts of Barcelona (Spain).
